Typical missions include inspections, surveying and mapping, property or promotional imagery, agricultural work, thermal inspection, security-related work and other legitimate drone-service requirements in Ireland.

Give providers the business problem and desired outcome in ordinary language. Approximate information is useful, and you can save an incomplete mission as a private draft and come back to it before requesting Marketplace review.

No. Budget information is optional. You can leave it blank and allow providers to propose a price in their quotes.

Published missions expose limited public information. Signed-in members can see the mission detail needed to assess and quote for the work. Exact site or access information and mission contact details are kept private until a provider's quote is accepted.

Marketplace review checks whether a mission contains enough appropriate information to be a useful, genuine listing before it is published. Review does not choose a provider, certify a drone operator or authorise a flight.

You can save a private draft, request Marketplace review when it is ready, and publish it after approval. Providers can then assess the mission and submit quotes. You compare the quotes and decide whether to accept one.

Yes. If the work is no longer required or you decide not to proceed, you can close your open mission without accepting a quote.

Register an account, complete the provider information needed for quoting and add accurate capability and fleet information. You can then browse open missions and submit quotes where the work fits your services.

Provider capabilities, credentials and fleet information are self-declared unless the site explicitly says otherwise. Marketplace review or directory approval is not certification of an operator and does not authorise any flight. Mission posters should make their own suitability and procurement checks before proceeding.

Before award, providers receive only the mission information intended for assessment and quoting. Exact site or access details and mission contact information become available to the provider whose quote is accepted.

Providers invest time in preparing quotes. The declaration helps discourage fake listings, market-price harvesting and other activity where there is no genuine intention to procure work. Legitimate subcontracting between drone businesses is not prohibited simply because the poster is also a drone operator.

No. The marketplace helps mission posters and providers find each other and exchange quotes. The mission poster decides whether a provider is suitable and which quote, if any, to accept.

The service provider is responsible for assessing the proposed operation and for the legal, regulatory, safety and operational requirements that apply to their flight. Posting or approving a mission on DroneJobsIreland.ie is not flight authorisation.

Mission dates are a preferred work window rather than a guarantee that a flight can happen on a particular day. The provider should confirm the actual timing based on weather, access, permissions and operational conditions.

No. The platform currently supports mission discovery, quoting and provider selection but does not process payment for the drone service. Payment arrangements are made between the mission poster and the selected provider.
